4 Ways to “Spring Clean” With Your Staffing Software!

Spring has finally arrived, after what has felt like the longest winter (at least here in Chicago). With spring comes spring cleaning. Your home isn’t the only place that could do with a refresh. Your staffing and recruiting business may also need a little elbow grease.  I’m not talking about just dusting off the counters or disinfecting (but you should probably do those things too!) Your spring clean should tackle the digital side of your staffing agency.

Deep cleaning the digital side of your company may sound overwhelming, but the right staffing software can make the process so much simpler! Here are a few ways to spring clean your business with your staffing software:

  1. Contact clients you haven’t talked to since last spring

Cut down that lengthy list of clients and prospects you haven’t spoken to since last year. Your staffing software should have a simple search option that shows you the clients you haven’t contacted in a while. After you put together that list, get started on those calls.  You never know a simple touch base call can lead to new job orders or even a brand new client.

  1. Get organized

Did you add new internal employees this year? When’s the last time you got your employees together to go over what codes go with which notes in your software? Meet with your team and give them a codes crash course. Remind your employees when to use which code and how to use them more effectively. Having the whole team on the same page will greatly improve your recruiters’ efficiency. You’ll also get more accurate reports.

  1. Speaking of reports….Run them!

Your staffing software should allow you to run reports on all aspects of your business, from candidate skills to client specifics and internal productivity. A spring cleaning is a perfect opportunity to check how your business performed the first half of the year. After you analyze those reports, start planning to make the second half of 2018 even better!
